We take great pride in the positive feedback that we receive from parents about the effective partnership we offer with regular updates about news and events that take place in our school community. This includes parental opportunities to link with their child's Class Facebook pages as well as the opportunity to see what their children achieve on a day to day basis using social media such as Tapestry and Seesaw accounts. Welcome back! Welcome Yurt and welcome to parents and families! This week was a week of welcomes as we returned to school after our two week break. We welcomed a great new resource in our outdoors, and you can see from our photographs that our yurt has now been safely installed.
The end of a busy half term. We now know so much more about who we think we are, and why Cramlington is special to us. Our reception children have been visiting the residents at Hartford Court care home this week to talk about the history of Cramlington.
Harvest time is a time to say thank you! Thank you to our families for wonderful support for our harvest celebration. Well done to all the children who shared their learning about harvest at the harvest festival on Tuesday this week.
This week’s Stay and Play welcomes parents to Year 1 and Year 2! Most parents of pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 joined our ‘Stay and Play’ day on Wednesday this week to spend time looking around the classroom at the children’s activities, and reviewing some of their work.

Who do we think we are continues … Our “Who do we think we are?” theme this term continues with a host of exciting activities. This term it is exactly five years since the school opened and we have lots of exciting celebrations planned.
Sponsored walk, numbers, hot chocolate and Pitmen Painters…another jam-packed second week at CVPS! Another great week at CVPS with the children settling in properly to their new classes and routines.
A new roof, picnic, trip to York, Woodhorn Colliery and a crime scene … it must be our first week back!
