The end of a busy half term. We now know so much more about who we think we are, and why Cramlington is special to us. Our reception children have been visiting the residents at Hartford Court care home this week to talk about the history of Cramlington.

Year 4 got fabulous weather this week for the annual residential activity holiday to Robinwood. Reports are shared on Facebook and I receive emails morning and evening to update me on the excellent resilience, team spirit and camaraderie that is seen. It’s also lovely to see that one of the Robinwood group leaders is the same as last year. Well done Robinwood you do a great job! And well done to Year 4 for relishing those amazing challenges! Very proud principal once again!
Year 1 visited the Hancock museum this week to learn all about dinosaurs and palaeontology. As always they behaved brilliantly and they were full of news about their learning that included: examining different fossils, trying out different dinosaur body parts, having triceratops horns or pteranodon wings, using special explorer bags to become palaeontologists, looking at different dinosaur habitats and learning that some dinosaurs had feathers. They even saw fossilised dinosaur poo! Yuk!
