CVPS is managed by an Academy Trust, comprised of parents, teachers and other local people who live and/or work in Cramlington and who are committed to providing the best school for our children.
CVPS Trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee, with Articles of Association.
The Trust has two layers of governance:
The members, who operate at a strategic level with ultimate control over the direction of the Trust
The governors, with responsibility for day-to-day management and operation of the school
Trust Members:
Oversee the achievement of the objectives of the company
Take part in Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings
Appoint some of the governors
Sign off the company’s financial accounts and annual report
Exercise power to amend the Articles of the company and, ultimately, to remove the governors
